Shahamat Chowdhury

Shahamat Chowdhury is the founder of Salam Consulting — one of The DMV Hackathon's host organizations — where he's reimagining career coaching as something accessible, human, and rooted in dignity.

Before striking out on his own, he spent years inside Fortune 500s like Capital One, BAE Systems, and Northrop Grumman, designing programs to improve the employee experience. He holds a Master's in Organization Development & Knowledge Management.

He's also a relentless community builder across the DMV — hosting events like "The Show," which spotlights talented Muslim founders, and Burger Socials that bring together entrepreneurs and professionals from across the region.
