Awais Sheikh is a strategist, entrepreneur, and community builder passionate about helping mission-driven organizations turn bold ideas into lasting impact. He is the co-founder of Forerunners, a leadership and innovation organization that equips Muslim professionals, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs to build organizations that thrive because of their values, not despite them.
Professionally, Awais has spent his career leading strategy, innovation, and organizational transformation across the nonprofit, corporate, and startup sectors — including directing strategy and execution for one of Amazon Web Services' largest Public Sector divisions. He regularly facilitates executive strategy retreats, leadership workshops, and innovation sprints, helping teams move from vision to execution.
Beyond his professional work, Awais serves on the board of Al Fatih Academy and has helped convene national initiatives spanning education, athletics, and community development.
